Knock, Knock
"Knock, Knock."
"Who's there?"
Is there a knock-knock joke we haven't heard? They are not exactly a goldmine of creativity.
Except in the hands of a 4 year old.
Then anything goes. In their eyes, their jokes are hysterically funny. In ours, they make absolutely no sense at all.
But we laugh along, enjoying their first attempts at humor and their pleasure in making other people laugh.
Jesus also says, "Knock, Knock." But this time it's not a joke. He is completely serious.
He's knocking.
Are we going to let him in?
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20
