Are You Out of Your Mind?
Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?
Alice: I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.
"Are you out of your mind?"
Generally speaking, that question is not meant as a compliment. But really, it should be.
"Yes, I am, thank you very much. I am out of my mind. I am entirely bonkers, totally crazy. All of God's people are."
They are crazy enough to forgive.
Crazy enough to help those in need.
Crazy enough to treat others the way they themselves want to be treated.
Crazy enough to offer grace.
Crazy enough to pray.
Crazy enough to stand for Jesus.
Am I out of my mind? I hope so. All the best people are.
"If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. For Christ's love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again." 2 Corinthians 5:13-15
