Magic Eraser
I'm in love. I'm in love with Mr. Clean and his powerful Magic Eraser. Once again, I have been amazed by its ability to clean the uncleanable. I thought my pool lounge chairs were surely headed for the trash heap, stained beyond help. Instead, they are ready for another summer. Oh, Mr. Clean, I do love you so.
As I was cleaning away, I was struck with the thought that grace is the ultimate Magic Eraser. So many times in my own life Jesus has taken the wonder of his grace and used it to clean the sin from my life. He saw what seemed damaged beyond repair and made it pure and holy, ready for his service.
And what I feel for Jesus? Now that is really love.
"It is God's will that you should be sanctified....For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life." 1 Thessalonians 4:3, 7
