Faithful
When we went to London, I expected to have a great time with Tim, relaxing, taking in the sights, and doing a little shopping. And we did all those things. We went to the British Museum and the Tower of London. We saw the Changing of the Guard and Westminster Abbey. We even went to Stonehenge.
But what I didn't expect was to be reminded, time and time again, that God is not confined to Texas. He moves and works in every corner of this world. His faithful love is everywhere.
He was there at the British Museum as we stood at the statue of Ramses, reminding us of the amazing story of the Exodus.
He was there on the street corner in Bath when we happened upon these young people singing "God of the City."

And he was there at the Michael W. Smith/Steven Curtis Chapman concert in the old, rundown Apollo Theatre. I expected to enjoy the music and maybe even sing along with my favorites. What I did not expect was to be touched in the deepest places of my soul.
God truly is faithful. He is always present even when we seem so unaware. His faithfulness touches every corner of this world. It defies definition and transcends all time.
He is faithful.
"May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it." 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
