Willing

"I am willing." Mark 1:41

The leper came, desperate for healing. He was an outcast, untouchable, unable to live in community. Jesus was his last hope.

So he came. Begging. Kneeling before Jesus.

"If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean."

Jesus reached out, touching him. Ever willing.


I came. Begging. Kneeling before Jesus.

"If you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean."

Jesus reached out, touching me. Ever willing.


So here I stand. Healed. Whole. Saved.

And the poor come, begging for a hand.

The sinful come, begging for grace.

The sorrowful come, begging for hope.

They ask, "Are you willing?"

And the answer is...
