Dream On
It appears that I have once again lost the ability to sleep through the night. I lie in bed as the minutes tick away, desperately wishing to go back to sleep. And of course, by 6:00 the next evening I am essentially narcoleptic.
To quote (entirely out of context) Hamlet, all I want is "to sleep: perchance to dream."
And how I do love a good dream--a small drama played out entirely in your mind. It is yours and yours alone. Because no matter how hard you try to share it with someone else, a dream usually loses itself in the retelling.
Unless it's actually a vision from God.
"After this I looked, and there was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, 'Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.' At once, I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it." Revelation 4:1
