Election Day
Finally.
I am so tired of speeches and ads and everything else that goes along with a presidential election. It seems that we have been consumed for the last two years.
Regardless of who wins today (and please, please let it end today), at least we will be done with the process for a little while.
And honestly, isn't it all a reminder of how blessed we are to live in this country?
After all, criticizing the President will get you arrested in many places. Voting may get you killed. Dissent is not allowed. Rioting and violence are all too common around the world in times like this.
But in this great country, there is no expectation of any of that. And while I have no idea why I have been so blessed by birth and citizenship, I am certainly thankful.
Let's join today in prayer that our country will be reunited in purpose so that we might be a light in this dark world. And while we pray that God will bless America, let us also pray that America will be a blessing to God.
