This Place Is a Mess
Wow! It seems that we have had so much happening and so many changes over the past few months. I have a sweet new daughter-in-law and am so thankful that God sent her to our family. And there is now a precious baby boy to go with his big sister. Being "Honey" is the greatest thing ever.
I had knee surgery a couple of weeks ago and have finally quit dragging my leg along behind me, although it still requires me to think about what I am doing. The stairs continue to be a bit tricky.
We are redoing our bathroom. That means I had to empty my closet and all the bathroom drawers. Stuff is stashed everywhere. The house is a mess. And very noisy.
I'm just looking for a little peace and quiet in the midst of the chaos.
And I remember the sweet peace and quiet of my early morning time with God.
He is the God of peace.
And in Him is where I need to be.
"For God is not a God of disorder but of peace." 1 Corinthians 14:33
