Speechless

It's been a year since I sat down and typed anything on this little blog of mine. I accidentally clicked on it this morning and as I read through old posts, I was reminded of how precious it had been to me in the past.

So I thought I would just dash off a post.

And here I sit.

Speechless.

Oh, I could talk about my frustration today with my insurance company. Or my phone service. Or how about my internet?

But who really needs to hear all that whining on a cold winter's day?

After all, I do have insurance and a phone and internet.

So maybe I can find another topic.

Maybe you would like to hear a year-end recap of everything that's happened to me in 2017.

Maybe not.

How about a discourse on the politics of the day?

Definitely not.

So maybe this will have to do.

Thank you for being there. My life has been made better by your very presence. Your friendship and your love have made my life richer in every way.

And in the face of that, I'm speechless.
